Our Delivery and Installation Charges

In order that your delivery/installation proceeds smoothly please read the following information.

FREE DELIVERY on most goods over £299 within a 25 mile radius Exeter.
 

SITE SURVEY - £20 (refundable against the purchase of equipment from us)
If you are unsure if a product is suitable or if it will fit we offer a site survey.

TIMESLOT - £10 (as a supplement to our delivery and installation charges)
The unknown timescale of each call makes it is impossible to offer precise appointment times. If this is inconvenient we can offer a one hour timeslot (e.g.10 – 11am) for an extra £10, which contributes towards our increased costs.

DELIVERY
AM (anytime between 9am – 1pm) or PM (anytime between 1pm – 5pm) available most days.
We endeavour to phone you on the morning/afternoon of the call to advise you of our expected delivery time.

• Disconnect your old equipment.
• Unpack your new equipment in our van and remove packaging to ease access and avoid soiling or damaging household fabrics.

INSTALLATION
We assemble television stands/cabinets beforehand off site.

• Connect the new equipment to your electric/water/gas services (see below).

1. Supply services must be within easy reach and fit for their purpose.
2. We take no responsibility for inadequate or faulty services and do not replace or alter services.

• Provide the essential standard connecting leads/pipes free of charge, for all goods over £299.
• Supply additional or superior quality leads and accessories as required on a chargeable basis.
• Setup your equipment and test on completion.
• Provide basic instruction to operate the equipment. (Time constraints restrict demonstration, although experience proves too much information can confuse)
• Provide further free of charge instruction on the phone, or in the shop, or a return visit within 10 days of installation.
• If after 10 days you require further help we offer in the home tuition for £15 (see below).

OLD APPLIANCE REMOVAL - £15
Under the governments new WEEE Directive we have opted out of any obligation to take back old equipment, although we will offer our customers an appliance transportation service to an approved WEEE treatment facility for recycling.

FREEVIEW, SATELLITE, WALL MOUNTING TV AND BUILT-IN INSTALLATIONS

GAS INSTALLATION
We will arrange a “Corgi” registered installer, as required by gas regulations, who will charge you direct for his services.

IN THE HOME TUITION - £15
We return to your home to provide up to half an hour further instruction on the operation of your equipment.
There will be no charge if difficulties are due to our installation or a faulty product.

MAINTENANCE – from only £45 a year
To safeguard against the inconvenience and expense of breakdown, please ask about our annual maintenance scheme.
